My parents split before my first birthday and before my sister was even born so I think us never knowing anything different is the main reason why we both didnt mind. They wouldve been toxic for each other anyway.

I told them to get divorced, but they wouldn't listen. Its been over 20 years of listening to them arguing almost every freaking day. Ugghhhhhh. I like to jokingly blame them as the reason why i havent dated anyone yet (age 27).

While they were married, my mom just cried on the floor and my dad barely came home. So it was pretty much the same either way.

Divorced by 2 both remaried by 5. Having 2 sets of parents and 4 sets of Grandparents was my normal. Made a killing on Birthdays and Christmas.

My parents divorced when I was 11, so I have to say mostly married. This is mostly a testament to how effective they were at hiding from us that their marriage was failing. And how unwilling they were to admit it to themselves.
