I don’t have vasovagal but I had LASIK over a decade ago, and honestly, the anticipation was way worse than the procedure. Also, it was absolutely worthwhile. Best of luck!

My experience was fantastic with LASIK. Both eyes had been done in what might have been 10 minutes. Got a ride home, woke up the next morning seeing 20/20. I've never experienced VS but if they know and are still going forward with it, you should be fine.

I really don't trust medical professionals to handle VS. I've always warned people but they don't know how to reduce the psychological stress for me and sometimes are surprised and confused when I start freaking out.

yeah my doctor prescribed me ativan for vasovagal syncope during blood draws and i took the dose she told me to and i felt literally nothing. I had to take 3x the dose for it to be effective at all. I'm afraid that's gonna happen today.

I hope it is much easier and less stressful than you anticipate and that it is completely successful!

At least you are eligible to do it, I will have to wear glasses for the rest of my life :)

I got a lot of benzo when I did my Lasik so that wasn’t an issue.

The procedure didn't hurt but the worst part was after they cut my corneas and flipped them back I had to get up and walk (with help) to another chair where the laser was set up. I was effectively blind and the idea of being stuck that way was terrifying. But all went well.

Nobody touched my eyes. A thing was lowered onto my face and in a milisecond it had cut/flipped. It happened faster than I could process.
