and their blood cells are oval, not round, so they move better when dehydrated
and you can breed them with llamas to get "camas"

camels are fucking insane their bodies are basically entirely optimized to handle temperature extremes which is insane for mammals i am deeply impressed

I’m proud to have known this before this tweet. However, I never knew they could breed with llamas.
Other strange biological curiosities I’ve include sea snails that use iron to coat their shells and sea slugs that gain traits of the things they consume (photosynthesis for ex).
