To be fair, I didn't mention this in my post, but a good chunk of these same men would not be ok dating a woman who had sex with other men for any reason
It's complicated for sure.
in a mammalian sense I think:
paternity uncertainty / status competition makes men say no
ensuring male investment / their reproductive vulnerability makes women say no
Most of the other reasons count for both sides, STDs/betrayal/yaddayadda
