Years ago, I watched zeitgeist. They presented a very compelling argument for 9/11 being an inside job - why did the safeguards fail? What about building 7? Etc. I was like, damn. This is extremely convincing. But the second section was about the bible, and the bible is probably-

I don't think that a government conspiracy that would require so many people in on some aspect of the plan could possibly stay a secret. The government simply isn't capable of covering up something so significant. The conspiracists assume a degree of competence that doesn't exist

While your delivery is a bit harsh, I generally agree. Usually the more people/visibility a conspiracy theory requires, the more skeptical I am of it. Conspiracy theories which require a relatively small number of people to pull off and are designed to stay invisible, yeah maybe.
