Strong agree; I strongly dislike Sander's policies, but still it's not cool to view him as responsible for the actions of the worst of those who follow him.

(sigh) of course doxxing & harassing people is wrong, no matter who does it. But it's also wrong & silly & all to common to act like certain candidates are de facto responsible for & associated with their supporters' worst behavior

Why do you dislike them? You don't think healthcare should be a human right? You don't think education should be a human right in a modern civilization? Shouldn't we take care of each other - extend the "I" to all the other humans on the planet?

"In 2018, the federal minimum wage of $7.25 was worth 14.8 percent less than when it was last raised in 2009, after adjusting for inflation, and 28.6 percent below its peak value in 1968, when the minimum wage was the equivalent of $10.15 in 2018 dollars" We are *lowering* it!

Oh absolutely I know businesses that couldn't run because of the min wage. The minimum wage disproportionately harms small businesses. I personally hire contractors from outside the US for below minimum wage because that's what I can afford.

I would be in favor of sophisticated, mathematically-determined minimum wage. Geographical cost-of-living and inflation should be variables in the equation, that would make sense. We should have a conversation about how to get this right. Legislating each raise is unsustainable.

My ideal is that any two informed, consenting adults are legally allowed to do whatever they want with each other, but if we can't have that then a more sensible and location-based min wage seems better yes.

The problem is the capital imbalance (1/2): Workers are in a Commodity>Money>Commodity (CMC) situation and employers are in a MCM situation. This means employers will only enter into a contract where the money coming out is greater than what they started with.
