I suspect most systemic oppression is a myth. But it's very commonly used as an important concept in America, and I wanna make sure I'm not missing anything - can someone steelman systemic oppression for me - what it means exactly, and if that definition is supported by data?

I don't really get the resistance. Why are you all so skeptical that a society with a long history of racism is racist? If you accept that America was racist in the 60s, please tell me when America stopped being racist.

America wasn’t. Areas were. That ended. Now it’s used as a scare tactic.
