Right now the govt uses threat of force to collect taxes. That's already a reality. Those taxes largely distribute wealth *up* (see multi-million dollar Amazon tax rebate and zero liability). Using those same dollars instead to help the poor is suddenly unacceptable to some?

Yeah, just as soon as they get delivery by autonomous flying pig working. Humorous snark aside, any individual state/government has massive incentives to tax a highly mobile company lightly. Governments are just another type of supplier to Amazon
