principles are a necessarily simplifying *tool* that you are using for *specific purposes*, and be prepared to loosen your grip on that tool whenever reality gives you a concept that isn't quite so elegantly manipulated by that tool.

Looks like you stumbled into a version of a problem tackled by some of the greatest minds in recorded history. Turning's halting problem, Russel's Universal Set paradox, Goodel's incompleteness theorem, etc. Many variations of encapsulation vs complexity. Dynamic vs static.
