I'm happy to pay my taxes in exchange for the freedom to use my non work hours how I want to. When I volunteer my time, it's for organizations I choose to support.

I would be willing/interested to do this for me (would be happy to teach classes a few months every year), but I worry that for people lower on the income scale, they might not be able to manage no pay for a few months. It would at least need some fine-tuning as an idea.
