As dumb as this whole thing is, I'm kinda amused that this is how I learn about it. My anti-news filter bubble is strong enough that only Visa's evergreen "[topic] tweet" thread and complete parodies like this are sneaking through.

If the person behind me were to ask me not to recline for a reasonable reason, like a physical issue I would try to accommodate.
