THREAD: What to know when tripsitting people on very high doses of acid: I used to do this a lot, like an idiot. The most common effect afterwards for very high doses (500ug+) was loss of memory, particularly if they hadn't done much acid before. I've seen total memory loss occur

What's the point of such a high dose? Surely you can't bring anything back from a trip so intense, and such extreme thought loops don't sound fun to me.

So, I was able to do high doses and maintain my memory, but I suspect that's because I slowly worked up to it over time. I had one 600ug trip that I still remember well and got a huge amount of benefit from.

I've always been real happy with what one or two tabs do. What's the added benefit to megadosing, besides bragging rights?

I'd done maybe 20-30 trips before I tried 600ug; it was only at 600ug that I realized that I was holding an extremely deep belief that pain was bad; after that trip pain and pleasure became fused together on some level and I stopped suffering.
