One way to gauge this might be to work out if you hold opinions now that your friends, family, and society would condemn if they knew you held them, and which are not related to you personally.

Outside view, it's unlikely, because few people in 1850 supported homosexuality. A "roughly equivalent" situation in 1850 is very far from being actually equivalent, so I can only guess what my views might be, and such speculation doesn't shift me from the outside view.

I think in 1850 the vast majority would have been publicly disapproving, but even within that majority a significant minority would have been privately indifferent and tolerant even.

The actual views of my parentswould play a much larger role than their personalities but I can get by that distinction. What prevents me from answering is that I need a definition of "support".
