PSA for the lazy/busy people: The most important reason to get a flu shot is other people. If you walk around incubating flu viruses and spread them to older/younger/immune compromised people, they could die because of you.
Take the 20 minutes. Get the flu shot every year.

I have a weakened immune system already from a medication I take. I'd rather take my chances on getting the flu than 100% getting it.

I put don't believe it works but it actually doesn't work when they manufacturer the wrong strain ahead of time like they do most years.
Over a hundred strains and they only randomly guess 3, I j think.

oh man i feel you. I've spent years with severe vasovagal response and fainting and it's horrible and i've repeatedly had medical providers not take me seriously and then act surprised when i start sobbing when they take out the needle
