I think the thing other people are parsing as 'gender' isn't 'gender' to me. I talked with a nonbinary friend recently who described their nonbinaryness as sort of... not wanting to be misunderstood as having female traits. This is valid! This also is completely different from-

I'm not sure what you mean by "detracts" here? If you're on the spectrum, it's probably *why* you're more masculine, imo

there's a really big overlap among trans/nb/agender people & autistic people that I consistently see come up when people are asking the questions you're asking, tbh

my son is very autistic, and daughter is on that spectrum too (much less,but anyway) She sometimes says about herself in masculine (in rus lots of words are male OR female), but I really don't see how she is _masculine_. Can't say I know you a lot, but - IMO you're very feminine.
