No man whose not socially inept says this to become more sure of himself, or for any other reason beyond not wanting to have his name slandered for potential assault accusations. Of course, they know it looks like a lack of confidence, but they do it out of fear of reprisal.

This whole question feels like a really small part of attractiveness overall. Like, sure, it's kind of exciting to navigate expectations around intimacy early on with someone. But it feels pretty insignificant compared to everything else.

It's usually better to just tease a girl until she begs for it, than to actually request her verbal consent.

Do you think *stating* what you want to do (ie, "I am going to kiss you") is as bad as outright asking? I would think it would be far better... This whole "affirmative consent" stuff is awkward and unnatural. More garbage from the "woke" community.

Not all questions end in a question mark. I can ask someone if they want a cup of tea by saying "hey I'm making tea".
