Doesn't the "pink tax" - where products marketed towards women cost more - just indicate that women are more willing to pay extra money to affirm their identity as female, and it's their own damn fault for not buying the cheaper, non-pink product?

I wrote my substantial writing law paper on the subject. It's old by now so the state of the law changed. But it is not a very well covered area, I'll forward it if I can find it. I wrote it in the wake of a man in Washington dying from horse sex and them not having a law for it
