There's a... I don't know, chilling effect? that Trump has/had, and would have that much stronger. Same if Weinstien gets acquitted. Means that the world is that little (or not so little) bit harsher, less just, less safe-to-be-free. Maybe that's my bubble.

I think Bernie is probably worse for economy, employment, but the functioning of democracy, the rule of law, and a working international order are important outcomes too.

It really depends on the time frame. I think Bernie has a much better chance of making us worse off over 100 years, better off in a 5-10 year span, and worse off in a shorter run few years. Trump is pretty reactionary, a lot of what he is doing he is already undoing himself(NAFTA

It’s either us or the oil companies. Hell if we do hell if we don’t. The military need and want the oil, but we need the military as well as human rights. If education would be more in the spotlight wouldn’t there be more job opportunities and less birth rates?

I don't trust Bernie much, but Trump for all his strengths in trolling, manipulation etc doesn't strike me as understanding economy one bit. Sure, economy is great. But what about the anomalously low interest rates & the stock bubble ? It's like saying cancer is growth.

Whoever the president is is likely such a small variable in those outcomes (except perhaps social issues) that the question itself is moot. The White House is a tiny factor in determining growth, even at a domestic scale, in global capitalism.
