Same, I was insanely disciplined with schoolwork while the story held up. Around 13 or 14 when the simple narrative lost its hold- that all turned upside down. I went from triple checking to never studying. Some effects persisted, I can't believe how long I avoided some sins

What was/is your spiritual path, in addition to acid? And/or does acid involve intense self-control and high discomfort?

Acid involved... Not self control? Depends on self and control. But definitely lots of discomfort, huge amounts of excruciating pain really. Spiritual journey since acid has been... Something's been happening and moving around without me "trying" for a few years now
