I hereby swear to never book another hotel with hidden resort fees, so help me god, even if I have to pay more overall. This is why I switched to

, but turns out they allow people charting resort fees not listed in the price! I'm so freaking mad. Nowhere is safe.

Not only that, hotels flat out lie. Lie with pictures I mean. Last time I rented a hotel in SF for a shoot, the hotel room looked *nothing* like it did in the website pic. The Victorian room I expected was full of shoddy, ugly furniture and looked run-down.

I wonder if there'd be value in a user-driven site that lets you scan bookings and your actual receipts and estimate an average hidden fee for each brand / location, then shows you that information in a browser plugin when you try to book.
