Lack of consent seems to be the main reason people are citing for why bestiality is wrong, and is also one that seems least consistent with other types of animal abuse (that they seem to care less about). Avoiding bestiality due to diseases seems like a fine reason to me.

“Seems to be the main reason” signals a pushed narrative to shade hushed or traditional reason. Indulging irresponsibly isn’t healthy for a civilization. Development of adequate social skills secures a mate, family, and builds a supportive community=Successful Society.

We don't have to eat meat anymore We also do a lot of shit to animals that's beyond simply eating them (sterilization, separating from young, using furs, killing all the male chicks in the egg industry, etc.).

It's even more important to note that disease (STD's) are much more common with human/human contact. Zoonosis is extremely rare and most common in 3rd world countries where lack of veterinary care exists. This is something here. lol

There is no lack of consent, because we havent set aside a zoophile to demonstrate their consent through body language because people like to harass zoos for loving non human beings. Verbal consent is just another bullshit reason to keep people from trying.
