Has bestiality always been historically so taboo? Why? It doesn't result in pregnancy; did it result in diseases? Why did humans evolve to get so repulsed from touching genitals with other species?

Ok to everyone talking about consent: 1. Consent wasn't really a strong concept in past cultures; you could rape your wife nbd but still not fuck an animal 2. Even if you use that, we still don't consider consent valid for non-sexual violations of animals

If two adults consent. It’s OK. If not. It’s not OK. That’s my thick opaque red line. Anything on the consenting adults side is good with me. On the other side, I support the death penalty.

Sure! I'm generally down with that definition of consent. I was mostly just saying that historically, people didn't really have the same idea about consent, and so using 'consent' for historical reasons around taboos doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

Like, the Bible didn't say "And thou shalt not lie with an animal because the animal doesth not haveth the mind or communication skills to sayeth 'no'", like the Bible condemns bestiality but also has very questionable norms around consent.
