Has bestiality always been historically so taboo? Why? It doesn't result in pregnancy; did it result in diseases? Why did humans evolve to get so repulsed from touching genitals with other species?
Ok to everyone talking about consent:
1. Consent wasn't really a strong concept in past cultures; you could rape your wife nbd but still not fuck an animal
2. Even if you use that, we still don't consider consent valid for non-sexual violations of animals
"why use consent now when consent wasn't as practiced in the past"
Vaccines didn't exist in the past; doesn't mean we shouldn't use 'em.
"pets have surgery so they aren't in extreme pain from heat therefore it should be okay to rape them"
That's a false equivalence.

...I'm not arguing that consent shouldn't be used, I'm arguing that because consent wasn't used in the past, that it's not a good explanation for why taboos developed in the past.
Well, to answer your initial question: we aren’t attracted to our animals because there is no evolutionary purpose as we can’t have offspring. Not including confused degenerate liberal women having sex with their dogs due to liberalism destroying the relationships between sexes
So “consent” is something you have arguments against, even though the point stands on its own.
You’ve made an error. Animals can’t consent, which shuts down this argument.

No, that’s not correct. Marriage was a business deal. The man had what was called “conjugal rights”. Your wife had the obligation as part of the deal to allow sex with her. Seems fair, imho. These days, where people are equal and no one has sex anymore, of course it is different.
