ok extremely spicy question which is a QUESTION, i'm not claiming anything, I want to look at actual data without any agenda here, but:
Based on light investigation, it seems trans women aren't really at significant risk of being murdered for being trans (and are at lower risk-

of murder than cis people are), with the exception of black trans women, who have terrible outcomes across the board.
I'm curious if this is due to greater sexual conservatism and lack of trans support in black communities? I'd love to read good studies if you have em!

Can you post the data you’re looking at? Is the black white murder difference bigger for trans people than for everyone?

So, some things to keep in mind that those statistics rely on:
-gender being reported accurately (often, trans women are reported as men, may not be out, etc)
-the cause of the crime being accurately reported
Keep in mind that "trans panic" is STILL a legal defense some places

One thing I'm looking at is ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P, still reading through it so let me know if you have issues with it, but so far it seems to take those things into account

I tried looking into this and couldn't find any meaningful data. There is a website which tracks trans murders, but they show far fewer than would be statistically expected given that 0.6% of the nation identifies as trans. I assume there are many trans murders we don't hear abt

Before the trans Twitter community comes out in force, this video by who is a trans woman herself, put heavy research onto the trans murder rate. There is evidence the trans murder rate isn’t as bad as the media make it out to be.

Both and have made sensitive, reasonable contribution to the broader trans conversation (despite as hominem attacks from some quarters) and may have other good sources.

In the West, and especially America, this is true of all the groups who experience some form cultural persecution. Violence against them, while spiking at certain points, isn't as pervasive as reported. And yes, that includes Jews.

Yes, unequivocally. Even the briefest look at trans homicide figures and photos of the deceased will show you this. This discourse is making its way across all the trans communities that I keep in touch with, but definitely not mainstream enough yet.
