Honest question, why do you think different Christian denominations lived relatively well together in the US? Was it because they were fundamentally the same religion?

Just speaking for myself, but I grew up Calvinist, and we had a set of core doctrines that, if people adhered to, they counted as 'one of us' - even if they weren't Calvinist. This encompassed nearly all protestant Christianity, and we heard sermons about getting along with them.

Only if the religions are are monotheist, universalist AND proselytism is part of the religion. Converting people is not part of Judaism. Polytheist religions often have no issue with extra gods. tl;dr you are generalizing from Christianity.

I just don’t understand when certain people ask other religionists to accept the validity, truth of all faiths equally. Like, take Judaism, Christianity, and Buddhism on the topic of Christ’s divinity. I don’t see how any of them can accept the other’s positions
