I just don’t understand when certain people ask other religionists to accept the validity, truth of all faiths equally. Like, take Judaism, Christianity, and Buddhism on the topic of Christ’s divinity. I don’t see how any of them can accept the other’s positions

Honest question, why do you think different Christian denominations lived relatively well together in the US? Was it because they were fundamentally the same religion?

That's a great question. I believe the answer is in the establishment clause of our constitution. Because there is no state (or majority) religion, there has been ideological space for a Cambrian explosion of religious belief in the USA.

Universalist isn't the right word. You mean exclusionary. Universalist means the contrary, it means inclusive... Christian universalism is a branch of Christianity that preaches everyone goes to heaven not just Christians.
