Adaptability is obviously acquiescence to circumstances, which is a stereotypically feminine trait. The stereotypically masculine approach is to force the circumstances to acquiesce to *you.*

I did a survey like this last year (link below).
Most interesting to me was that females are FAR less likely than men to pick their own gender as more likely to cheat and/or lie.
