ok yes but sometimes you use pinkish purple shades instead of pinkish red ones and last thursday you even did a cut crease so now this is definite proof you're not doing this 'for anyone else'

Yes but *why* do you like the look? I like the look of my face when I wear makeup but if I look a little deeper it becomes obvious that I like it because I know it changes other people's responses to me in the way I want.

Sure - I guess my issue is slightly less with expression (I concede that choosing an eyeshadow color counts as expression) and more with the insistence that the motivation for this does not come from other people.

What do you think about someone who does make up even when not going out? Put on makeup and then stay home, alone (also no posting pics to Instagram etc). Would you be more inclined to believe this person when they say they do it for themselves?

slightly, but not entirely? I also sometimes put makeup on at home; it's hard to separate this from doing it for other people, tho. Like, religion might beat strong rules into you, and you find yourself still doing those rules even when alone. I'd still say it's religion's fault.

I mean, you say that, but I literally haven't left the house in days & I've made sure my eyeliner is on point every day so maybe it'd be something you could do to make the world a kinder place by stopping judging other women in general & just focus on your own betterment
