1. Poly means you're less committed to your partner
2. Poly relationships don't last as long
3. If you're poly you must like casual sex/have a higher sex drive/are promiscuous
4. If you're poly you must be with more than one person

Imo poly means "Down with having multiple loves." If you're dating 2 people and one of them breaks up with you, you don't suddenly stop being poly.
I'm dating 1 person right now but am 100% full blood completely polyamorous.

1 seems almost necessarily the case. Not calling it wrong, but it seems like to be the case.
2 requires stats. If there is reliable data to prove the ‘they last just as long or longer’ hypothesis then awesome, without that data it’s just someone wishing it’s so.
