At the end of the day it required a ton of tinkering to make my executive function less of a roller coaster. Though there are some things with caffeine that I do that could probably be widely applied: 1. Split your caffeine intake into smaller more frequent doses
-
2. Rotate caffiene sources to keep tolerance from building up as fast. When you raise both your dose and your tolerance it's not the same: it's like putting two elephants on a seesaw instead of two kids

While I definitely am still struggling with this, starting to think about the stuff I need to do helps me get excited about it, as opposed to it being a large ominous block of "work"

Physical fitness and low sugar intake. Lately power yoga (yin and ashtanga flow) really made a huge difference. Yoga gives balance and aerobic workout spikes endorphins.

I tend to make whatever it is the first thing I do with my day; if it's something huge, I do it in bite size pieces first thing each day. Have 100 photos to master and edit? That's daunting, will take FOREVER, & is impossible; but 4 photos at 30 minutes a day for 25 days is easy.

Then you can go back to bed or do whatever else is in your heart; but do a portion of it daily and do it first with as few distractions as possible for a reasonable amount of time. Don't keep working until you're burned out each day, just do it for that daily small chunk of time.

Small morning workout every day except for weekends, 8h of quality sleep (going to bed on schedule), coffee in the morning, having clear goals and a clear plan to achieve them, building habits (basically everything

Stimulants. Turns out it was ADHD all along and drugs work
(Obviously not the case for everyone) -
