this year i started taking notes during circling. i would take notes on objective occurrences, my interpretation of what was really happening, questions i had, meta-analyses and insights. surprised it's not a more common thing - I haven't seen anyone else do it that I recall.

I saw one guy bring in a notepad to circling once, was taking notes, and the entire circle had an intense broohaha over it

He stopped taking notes at the end of it. I think frame was needed so people understood what he was doing. I felt curious and slightly offput.
