Depends on the company and the value their assets bring. If it’s advancing an industry/technological field, I may be more forgiving of it. Otherwise I’m rather neutral. I tend to view large corporations like simple creatures. Mainly concerned with their self preservation/growth.

Aren't corporations legally obligated to maximize their profits/growth for the shareholders? Are they just supposed to run themselves into the ground while their competition flourishes? 77% of people have never run a business so I guess that makes sense.
-
Legally obligated? That wouldn't make sense. Not maximizing profits for shareholders is a good way to get your stock price to plummet, but it isn't *illegal.*

This decreases my approval of legislators.

No change. Most large corporations do this. In the absence of contrary evidence I'd already assume any given corporation is doing this. Illegal tax evasion would decrease approval and no tax avoidance would increase approval from base level.
-
No legal tax avoidance would imply incompetence UNLESS accompanied by some sort of offsetting value, like effectively promoting their "socially responsible" tax practices.

The tax code is designed to encourage this type of behavior. Taxes have 2 purposes: bring in revenue, and incentivize behavior.
