I think I'm disappointed that the trans community is as vicious and cruel as the pro-life was. Like... I expected better. I am very pro-trans, whereas I'm not pro-life at all, so I sort of just... anticipated more kindness?
I feel similarly about trans issues. If I actually want to change people's mind, then having a hostile attitude isn't going to do it; I need to actually engage fearlessly and directly with the questions, and give direct and honest answers. For example, in my og question,

turns out the answer is probably around 0.5%, which is extremely low, and serves as a good refutation to all the people who think trans people are just 'failed men' or something. If I hadn't asked the question, I wouldn't have gotten that answer.
