I mean...we do. Constantly. The Venn diagram overlap of "trans people" and "anti-abortion" is vanishingly small. I'd hope you'd help us in a situation like that instead of sitting back and watching, yes? Not just defending abortion, but actively siding with and defending us?
For example, I often ask questions about abortion that might sound like they come from pro-life rhetoric, despite me being extremely pro-choice. If pro-life people see me engaging seriously with their inquiries, there's a greater chance they might be open to my other views.

I feel similarly about trans issues. If I actually want to change people's mind, then having a hostile attitude isn't going to do it; I need to actually engage fearlessly and directly with the questions, and give direct and honest answers. For example, in my og question,

turns out the answer is probably around 0.5%, which is extremely low, and serves as a good refutation to all the people who think trans people are just 'failed men' or something. If I hadn't asked the question, I wouldn't have gotten that answer.
