I think I'm disappointed that the trans community is as vicious and cruel as the pro-life was. Like... I expected better. I am very pro-trans, whereas I'm not pro-life at all, so I sort of just... anticipated more kindness?

I've been extremely clear in a huge amount of this discussion that I'm pro trans, that the vast majority of trans people aren't pretending, that trans lives are very hard, but people are just ignoring what I'm saying and acting like I hate trans people, wtf.

What you believe to support is irrelevant to them.
They are not asking people to treat them "as if" they are what gender they claim to be.
If you do not actually believe they are the gender they claim to be, then you are against them no matter what you claim to support.

And, they would actually be right about that.
Because, Transgenderism is not just about what they want to do with their body. It's about you being coerced to believe their subjective perception.
The reality of the matter is that you actually DO NOT support transgenderism.

but... gender isn't real? Like, it's a social construct. I try to treat *everyone* as if they're the gender they think they are, cis or trans. Nobody actually *is* a gender, that doesn't make sense to me.

Yes, gender is a social construct but gender identity is real. Everyone, cis, trans or nonbinary, has an innate sense of their gender or lack thereof.

I mean, I'm agender so I generally don't? I don't know if I 'sense a lack', I mostly just don't sense anything at all, but i guess it might be wordplay at that point.
