I absolutely think a lot (most? nearly all?) trans people are trans because of default brain wiring or something, but I wonder what percentage are MtF cause they felt like they could never be a successful man, and because there's a clear community/path to acceptance for trans ppl

It doesn't matter what percentage they are at all, merely bringing this up as if out of some "casual curiosity" is absolutely the same as questioning, out of the same kind of "casual musing", what percentage of sexual assault claims by women are completely made up for attention

I also wonder what percentage of sexual assault claims are completely made up for attention, that seems extremely important. I have one friend who had sexual assault claims made up about him, and he had *proof* it was false, but nobody cared. That seems important.

Well, you weren't there so you probably can't know for sure, sexual assaulters lie all the time about the most minute details, but yes, there are such cases. However, you "wondering" about the statistics does absolutely nothing to help combat those cases.
