I absolutely think a lot (most? nearly all?) trans people are trans because of default brain wiring or something, but I wonder what percentage are MtF cause they felt like they could never be a successful man, and because there's a clear community/path to acceptance for trans ppl

Not that trans people have automatic community, especially in certain areas of the world, but that there is some visible and clear narrative around being a successful, accepted trans person that might appear to be more easily achievable than being a successful man, for some.

*especially* when it comes to men with more feminine interests, in more traditional communities where they might get derided for it.

In some cases, I think this is a possibility yes. This would have to be cases where there's no clear reward to being a man (espec. sexually), where they feel very little sympathy for their gendered difficulties, and wants to feel community and pride and sympathy for who they are.

I think I'm allergic to anything absolutist. I wouldn't say "no" cases. Maybe it's extremely, extremely rare, but I'd bet all the money I own that you could at least locate 1 circumstance in all of human history where a community stigmatized a trans woman less than a cis man.

I dislike the idea that people can or can't talk about things. I invite you to talk about cis-ness, and cis people to talk about trans - and people of any group to speculate about any other group. I refuse to shut anyone up on the basis of who they are.
