I absolutely think a lot (most? nearly all?) trans people are trans because of default brain wiring or something, but I wonder what percentage are MtF cause they felt like they could never be a successful man, and because there's a clear community/path to acceptance for trans ppl

Also, I don't understand the pushback around this. If there's a small percentage of people becoming trans for other reasons, that seems like it would be insulting/threatening to real trans people, and wouldn't you want to call this out?
-
what's insulting is clueless mopes with big social media platforms wandering into touchy subjects the trans community can work out on our own

So what if there’s a small percentage? Are you saying that trans people should be denied care just because there’s a chance that very small number are transitioning for bad reasons?
-
Absolutely not, I don't think trans people should be denied care, I have never once said that. Just because a small percentage has social reasons for changing doesn't negate the majority who are legitimately trans.

Omne possibile exigit existere. It matters little than one individual would find your description accurate to them. Why would you consider such a phenomenon worthy of speculation? Why think of this specific explanation?
