I would pay a very significant amount of money to have the ability to look like I'm walking around in high heels without having the felt experience of walking around in high heels

Huh. I’ve been honestly fine with a couple random pairs of heeled boots I got second-hand. Quite comfy for walking. I’ve had less luck with shoes. Maybe the key is the spread of the force around the foot? Could be a gait thing as well or an anatomy thing, ankle strength maybe.

I've had a bit better luck with boots, they tend to be generally more cushiony everywhere. They also tend to have slightly shorter heels.

Makes sense. How do you walk in bare feet? In flats? Do you sprain your ankles easily?

I've never sprained an ankle. I walk fine in bare feet? I'm a trained dancer and nobody seemed to have an issue with my feet. I typically wear flats or vibrams.
