Huh. I hate any structured pairs dancing where it's easy to talk and meet, I love ecstatic dance but can't imagine how I could successfully flirt with anyone there. And I'm afraid my friend is less into dancing and less extroverted than I am.

social (partnered) dancing tends to appear to highly introverted people because it gives
1. a skill to learn with concrete 'correct' steps
2. a clear format for interacting with other people
3. the ability to connect intimately with other people
