Would you support a lower minimum wage for highly flexible jobs? As in, if you can decide what hours you want to work, then your employer can pay you a little bit less?

How is it enforced that an employee has actual choice? People will get forced into lower paying jobs, and then they would need to pretend they could decide their hours. This makes no sense. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Since "minimum wage" is limited to employment contracts defined by hour on clock = some amount of money, there's already plenty of IC, piecework, commissions etc. type "employment" that fall into this space although very few of them have much worker end schedule flexibility.

Like many of your questions, the devil is in the details. If this is proposed within good social protections (including basic income), then it can be a good thing. If it is proposed within bad social protections (like the current ones), it is dangerous.
