Depends on the definition? Like, I presume you're meaning racist in the sense of "actively holds and affirms negative race-based views" as opposed some of the more expansive definitions?

Oh yeah. He was involved in educating medical students for three decades. I guess he's racist as he told me the commie-era joke on how African countries determine who to send abroad for university. I won't reproduce it, enough to say it involves references to monkeys and palms.

Luckily I don't have any card carrying members of the Klan, but for one or two to then to use some intense slurs now and again, that's expected.
