The fact that powerful groups have twisted the tax codes in their favor is an argument for tax code simplification and reform, not an argument against people obeying the rules.

Forced funding exists bc there are greedy & power hungry ppl who want to do things w other's money that they can't convince those ppl to fund voluntarily, & they don't want to be held accountable Ability to w/hold contribution is primary means of holding orgs accountable

I’m not even going to answer this because I can see where you’re trying to lead it. Corporations *buy off politicians* to get all the loopholes they take advantage of. Using the loopholes isn’t what’s gross. MAKING them is.

Depends on whether you think the electorate is better at distributing your wealth for the society fee than you are. If you don’t want to spend any time thinking about how you depend on others to gather your wealth then paying the absolute minimum (which requires legal fees) = 🤔
