The person/s who made it likely to get away with it on either side. More afraid of Corporations still, although both were involved in this process. Not really willing to pick one of the options available in the poll right now because this + who cares about fault? I want it fixed.

Fixed under the assumption that rejecting all bribes would be the right thing to do, not by creating a system where corporations wouldn't have to bribe anyone since their wishes are preemptively granted.

They all suck.

Assuming this split holds up in a more rigorous sample, there is something critical here that I can't fully parse yet.

a lot of these polls are asking how people think they'd behave and not how they'd behave. I don't have a better answer for how to use twitter to answer these questions, but I don't think you'll get answers this way.

Well this is not a behavior question, but a moral one of fault. I agree though, I think these two questions paired together naturally makes one feel a tendency to answer differently than each asked separately. Had to catch myself before doing it myself

bribing to save a family member for a service is pretty tempting to accept

There is still significant guilt on both sides; the briber for bringing into being the idea of the corrupt act, and the bribee, who beyond the general duty not to enable bribes, also has a obligation to their office that they're breaking.

They’re equally at fault and equally dangerous

I’d say the one who initiated the bribe is the one more at fault. Government is infinitely worse than corporations.
