I think the issue is that you're portraying sex and hanging out as bonding exercises that only differ in degree. If that's true, why does incest seem gross? If it's merely "bonding", why is it disgusting to imagine having sex with one's own parents?

You can answer that it's a different kind of bond, or that it's the same kind but just way more intense, but I think both answers weaken the case for drawing analogies between sex and other social activities.
