A candidate's promise as president is this: He'l hire the top 50 people in the country, educated or not, who can make the most accurate possible predictions based on large, complicated data. He will have them vote on the outcomes of his potential actions, and then follow that.

But those "better qualified people" won't necessarily get the policies enacted they've deemed best. That's because voters elect someone to do what *they* want, not what "smart people" want. It's the inherent complexity in a liberal democracy.

To be fair, in this hypothetical situation, the voters know that their candidate is using the intelligence of 50 experts in their fields. Aella, the only part that throws me off is the"educated or not." If they don't know statistical analysis, or are educated in the policy...
