Does anybody know much about keyboards? I want to buy one and have historically typed on laptop keyboards at around 130wpm avg; typical mechanical keyboards slow me down because the depression distance is too great. Looking for sleek, fast-friendly keyboard recommendation!

This is one of those "only matters to regular people, not 'internet famous' people" things, but I SWEAR: it is soo common for e-famous people to have absurd WPM. And it's not even like WPM (obviously) matters to most of them, either; they just type faster. I always wonder why.

My gut explanation is that it's a matter of drive: the average person is fine with 50-100 WPM, but the person willing to become internet famous is (consciously or not) driven to be the best at a facet of the technology they wish to dominate.
