The amount of people non-ironically agreeing with the anti-suffrage poster I tweeted a day or two ago is really surprising. Tbf I want to treat all views with respect (used to be anti-suffrage myself!) but I'm just surprised at the *amount* of people supporting it.

Yes, I used to believe that women probably shouldn't have the right to vote. I was raised in an extremely patriarchal, isolated community where we were homeschooled and our media filtered. I moved away from that view once I left home.
