Do you find it persuasive?

Not really? My mind doesn't change, but it does freak me out a little bit how good people were at rationalizing things then (and by extension, probably today too)

Some of these arguments are totally vacuous on a rational level, but only seem rational to them due to misconceptions about how life is for people of classes outside their own. The issue today is people are taught to treat others as if this limited mindset still exists.

..and in 100 years from now, they will look back at our arguments for killing 10,000 20+ week old babies in the womb, and be 100 times more aghast at how we in 2019, twisted all logic and morality to argue in favor of these killings.

There's no good evidence a 20 week old fetus is capable of experiencing any meaningful level of pain or consciousness, unlike pigs and cows of which there is abundant evidence can experience pain and are slaughtered in their millions, not tens of thousands. Pick a better cause.
