Your two polls do a great job to show framing bias. About 50-50 for just more/less attractive but once you ask people to reveal their gender then answers change
I chose less out of practicality, as I assume it’s likely that I’ll be the one less in love in most relationships. But I have been in positions which were more incongruous with me caring far more. It’s preferable to have less emotional attachment as it’s less painful to leave.
