If you are not genderqueer, genderfluid, nonbinary, or anything similar you usually adhere to gender roles. If you don’t challenge them you would not feel pressure to adhere them.

These results are quite shocking.
But questionable survey design: how strong is "unusually" strong? I think it's better to just say "how strong" than go with this second-order subjectivity. Also does the "pressure" come from outside or within oneself?

Per this sample of folk, recognition of unusually strong pressure was less determinative than the social thesis holds.
